Training Needs Analysis

Some of the best TNA is done by the Armed Forces, we have only built on this experience by automating this process where we can and taking it both forwards and backwards analysing the job and the purpose of the job.

By completing this stage you can help and assist your staff towards better qualifications and by training them to do the job you employ them to do, this gives you the employer a better and happier group of people to work with.

One of the key areas identified at this is any government grants available to you.

We will take you through the job/task analysis by dividing them into Job, Duty, Task, Sub-task, Task element, each task element can then be analysed to the best training media according to your budget.

We can go onto further analysis using:-
  • Task Analysis - Training Situation Analysis
  • Task Analysis - Task Decomposition
  • Task Analysis - DIF Analysis
  • Gap Analysis - Knowledge/Skills/Attitude (KSA) Analysis
  • Gap Analysis - Specification of Training Objective
  • Options Analysis - Media Effectiveness
  • Options Analysis - Throughput Analysis
  • Options Analysis - Cost Analysis
  • Options Analysis - Cost Effectiveness Analysis
This will give you a fuller and better understanding of your job and training requirement, please feel free to contact us for an initial discussion with the consultant who would carry this out for you. If we can understand your position and where you would like to be we will be able to help you get there.

Training Content Production

Content production is the actual material you are putting in front of the people you are training, this can be from simple training aids such as leaflets through to a part task trainer or a fully operational piece of equipment such as an Aircraft or Car.

An awful amount of people discuss "Blended" "Mixed" we would like to define this

"Training that uses media to best deliver the required outcome, across the complete solution"

To achieve the above you have to analyse the training requirement and the available media at your disposal, you may for instance:-
  1. Pre-Test Training - HTML Based, tracked through Learning Management System
  2. Training Requirement Builder - Build the training required for individual
  3. Training Delivery - Classroom, Web, Intranet, Book, Audio, Video or a mix of them all
  4. Post Assessment - To analyse the student and the effectiveness of the training, we recommend that this be done on one, two, three and six month period.
  5. Training review - To feed back to the training design team.
We have a unique approach to content provision, where possible we try to use templates to drive down the cost of training, from our experience we can save between 30 to 50% of the budget, using this money to build more training or just saving you money.

Using generic training services or products to achieve your training can be a cost efficient way of achieving your goals where either there is small numbers for training or generic training delivers and fits well, in this instance we can give advice and analyse the training whether product or service based.

Our design team would be very interested in discussing your requirement with you, to sit down and go through what can be achieved in the time scales, once a decision has been made on the training requirement a Project Manager will be assigned and it will be his responsibility to follow this through to the end of the project ensuring your successful implementation.

We have the experience and knowledge of building training to deliver the outcomes and drive your organisation forward.
